This is a very easy tutorial, but it is not for BEGINNERS.
I have assumed that you already know the basics of Paint Shop Pro. To complete this tutorial you will need: Paint Shop Pro |
STEP 1) OK, let's get started. Open a new image. It can be any size you like, as long as it's square. For this tutorial, I openned a 100 x 100 image. |
STEP 2) Set your background color to a color you want in your background tile. Set your forground color to another color you want in your background tile. I chose #DCAAFF (lavendar) and #7FF0FC (a bright blue-green). Set your forground to GRADIENT, using the settings shown at the right. Flood-fill your image with the gradient. |
STEP 3) Effects - Texture Effects - Weave Use the settings shown to the right. If you openned a 200 x 200 image, use width 19. Basically, if you want your tile to be seamless, the width and height of your image must be a multiple of your gap size + width settings. |
STEP 4) Effects - Reflection Effects - Kaleidoscope Use the settings shown to the right. |
Your tile should now look like the picture to the near right. Step 5) Apply Simple - Diamonds. Your tile should now look like the tile to the far right. |
(This step is optional) Step 6) Apply FM Tile Tools - Blend Emboss. |
| (JUST FOR FUN) Look what happens, if you reverse Steps 4 & 5! | ||
