This is a very easy tutorial, but it is not for BEGINNERS.

| In the space above, I have provided a gold and a silver gradient, in a ZIP file. Unzip the file and save them to your Gradients folder, or use your own. In this tutorial, I'm going to show you how the tile will look, using red and the gold gradient, and, using green and the silver gradient. You don't need to do both of them at the same time. | ||

STEP 1) Open a new image 200 x 200 Flood-fill your image with either a gold or a silver linear gradient: Angle 45 Repeats 9 Invert CHECKED |

STEP 2) Layers - Add new raster layer Set your foreground to a linear gradient. I'm using a dark red to medium red with the gold, and a dark green to medium green with the silver. Flood-fill the new layer with the gradient: Angle 45 Repeats 1 Invert UNCHECKED NOTE: You can use any colors in your gradient, or you can use a solid color instead of the gradient, or you can use a pattern. |

STEP 3) Change the Blend Mode of the new layer to Dissolve Slide the opacity of the new layer down to 96, or until it has an amount of sparkle that you like |

STEP 4) Selections - Select All Selections - Modify - Contract 6 Selections - Invert Hit the Delete key De-select Layers - Merge - Merge All (flatten) |
